We are pleased to share with you the second announcement for the SIXTH LATIN AMERICAN SYMPOSIUM OF PHYSICS AND CHEMISTRY IN ARCHAEOLOGY, ART AND CONSERVATION OF CULTURAL HERITAGE - LASMAC2017, which will be held in:
La Paz - Bolivia July 10th – 14th 2017 |
The event will begin on Monday, July 10th, 2017 with a welcome reception and will end on Friday 14 after an informal gathering. The symposium consists of lectures, paper presentations, and poster sessions.
Registration and Submission for LASMAC 2017 are as follows:
The abstracts for papers and posters must present a concise summary of the work performed, the primary goal of the project, the materials and methods used, the overall results and final conclusion.
Please, use the following Word format (refer to the link below) when writing the abstract: www.tiwanaku.gob.bo/lasmac2017/en/abstract_format_lasmac2017.php
The deadline for all abstract and poster submission is June 16th, 2017. Admitted languages are English, Spanish and Portuguese. If an individual applicant wishes to submit more than one abstracts, a separate application form is required for each abstract.
Participants will be notified by June 20th, 2017, if their abstracts have been selected (or within one month from the date that the abstract has been received).
Visit the following link: www.tiwanaku.gob.bo/lasmac2017/en/registration_form.php, and provide the required information, attaching the abstract in Word (.doc) as indicated on the form. The file name should include the surname and the first initial of the primary author (Example: CORTES A - ABSTRACT - LASMAC2017). Once you have completed the entire form, click “Send”. You will receive an automatic response that will include your registration receipt.
Once your paper has been selected by the National Scientific Committee, please submit your Registration Fee LASMAC2017 following these instructions:
From Abroad: through Western Union, addressed to La Paz (Bolivia), on behalf of Dr. Jorge Lisme Ticona, C.I. 2393168 LP indicating “Registration Fee LASMAC2017”.
From Bolivia: Deposit at the “Banco FIE”, Bank account N° 26220015265 on behalf of Marcial Medina Huanca.
Scan the Registration Fee payslip (.jpg file or PDF) with the file name as demonstrated by the following example: CORTES A. - Payment - LASMAC2017. Send an email to lasmac2017@tiwanaku.gob.bo and include the payable amount (please refer to the timetable below to determine the corresponding registration fee). Note that the registration fee is date-dependent as early registrants will be given a discounted rate.
